This Privacy Policy describes how ZeenInfotech Solutions (“we”, “us”, or “our”) collects, uses, and protects information when you use the PDF Editors Android mobile application (package name: com.zeeninfotech.Pdfeditors) and our related online PDF tools at pdfeditors.live (together, the “Services”).

1. Information we collect

Depending on how you use the Services, we may collect:

• Account information — email address, name (optional), and authentication credentials when you create an account or sign in with email, Google, or Apple.
• Guest / device identifiers — a randomly generated device ID stored on your device to support guest sessions and API access without registration.
• Documents and files — PDFs, images, and other files you choose to upload, scan, convert, edit, sign, OCR, or store in My Files.
• Usage and technical data — app/platform type, feature usage, job status, error logs, IP address, browser or device type, operating system, and general diagnostics needed to operate and secure the Services.
• Preferences — theme, language, and in-app settings stored locally on your device.
• Camera and media access — when you use document scanning or pick files from your device, content is accessed only for the feature you initiate.
• Push notification tokens — if you enable notifications, we may store a device messaging token to send service-related alerts.
• Advertising data — on the free mobile app, Google AdMob may collect advertising identifiers and interaction data; on our website (pdfeditors.live), Google AdSense and its partners may use cookies and similar identifiers to serve and measure ads, as described in Google’s policies.
• Subscription and billing data — when you purchase or manage a paid plan, we (and our payment gateways) may process plan selection, amount, currency, billing status, transaction or order IDs, and limited billing contact details. Full card numbers and UPI PINs are handled by the payment processor, not stored on our servers.

2. How we use information

We use collected information to:

• Provide PDF editing, conversion, scanning, OCR, e-signature, compression, merge/split, and related tools.
• Authenticate users, sync My Files across devices, and manage optional cloud storage.
• Process enterprise features such as teams, sharing, API access, and admin activity where enabled.
• Maintain security, prevent abuse, troubleshoot errors, and improve performance.
• Display and measure ads for free users — through Google AdMob in the mobile app and Google AdSense on the website — to help keep the core tools free.
• Process subscription purchases, renewals, cancellations, invoices, and refunds through payment gateways.
• Respond to support requests and communicate important service updates (including billing notices).
• Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.

3. How we store and retain data

• On your device: local documents, secure tokens, device ID, and preferences may be stored using device secure storage and local databases.
• On our servers: account data and files you save to My Files or process through cloud features are stored on servers operated by ZeenInfotech Solutions and its hosting providers.
• Retention: we keep information only as long as needed to provide the Services, meet legal requirements, resolve disputes, and enforce agreements. You may delete files from My Files; to delete your whole account, use our Delete account page or email [email protected].

4. Sharing of information

We do not sell your personal information. We may share information only in these cases:

• Service providers — hosting, storage, email, analytics, authentication, payment gateways, and infrastructure partners that process data on our behalf under contractual safeguards.
• Third-party SDKs and services — including Google AdMob (mobile ads), Google AdSense (website ads), Google Analytics, Firebase (messaging/infrastructure), Google Sign-In, Apple Sign-In, Google ML Kit Document Scanner on supported devices, and payment processors used for subscriptions (for example Razorpay, Stripe, or Google Play Billing). These providers may collect data according to their own privacy policies.
• Legal requirements — when required by law, regulation, court order, or to protect rights, safety, and security.
• Business transfers — in connection with a merger, acquisition, or asset sale, subject to continued protection of your information.

5. Permissions (Android app)

The mobile app may request permissions such as:

• Internet — connect to our API and third-party services.
• Camera — scan documents to PDF.
• Storage / media access — open, save, and share PDFs and images you select.

Permissions are used only for the related feature. You can revoke permissions in your device settings, though some features may stop working.

6. Cookies and similar technologies (web)

Our website may use cookies, local storage, and similar technologies for session management, authentication, preferences, analytics, and advertising. You can control cookies through your browser settings.

7. Advertising — Google AdMob (mobile app)

The free PDF Editors Android app (and iOS when available) uses Google AdMob to show banner and interstitial ads. Paid subscribers do not see these ads. In connection with mobile advertising:

• Google AdMob and its partners may collect and process advertising identifiers (such as the Android Advertising ID), IP address, device/app information, and ad interaction data to serve and measure ads.
• Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent and location.
• Where required (for example in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland), we present a consent message via Google’s User Messaging Platform (UMP) before personalized ads are requested.
• You can change your ad privacy choices later from Settings → Privacy options in the app when that entry point is shown.

You can also manage advertising preferences on your device:

• Android: Settings → Google → Ads (reset advertising ID or opt out of ads personalization).

8. Advertising — Google AdSense (website)

We use Google AdSense to display advertisements on pdfeditors.live. Advertising helps us keep the core PDF tools free to use. In connection with serving ads:

• Third-party vendors, including Google, use cookies to serve ads based on a user’s prior visits to our website or other websites.
• Google’s use of advertising cookies (including the DoubleClick/DART cookie) enables it and its partners to serve ads to you based on your visit to our site and/or other sites on the internet.
• Third-party vendors and ad networks may also use cookies to serve ads based on your interests.
• Ads may be personalized or non-personalized depending on your consent and location. Where required, we request consent before serving personalized ads.

You can manage or opt out of personalized advertising:

• Opt out of personalized Google ads at Google Ads Settings.

• Opt out of third-party vendor cookies at www.aboutads.info and www.youronlinechoices.eu (EU).
• You can also disable or block cookies through your browser settings, though some site features may be affected.

9. Subscriptions, payments, and refunds

Paid plans are optional. Billing is handled by third-party payment gateways or app stores. 10. Children’s privacy

The Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us and we will take appropriate steps to delete it.

11. International users

Your information may be processed in countries other than your own. We take reasonable steps to protect data regardless of where it is processed.

12. Security

We use administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect your information, including encrypted connections (HTTPS/TLS) and secure token storage on mobile devices. No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security.

13. Your choices and rights

Depending on your location, you may have rights to:

• Access, correct, or delete personal information we hold about you.
• Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (including ad consent via in-app Privacy options).
• Object to or restrict certain processing.
• Request a copy of your data in a portable format.
• Opt out of personalized ads via your device advertising settings (Android: Settings → Google → Ads).

The Services may link to third-party websites or services (for example Google Play, sign-in providers, or ad networks). We are not responsible for the privacy practices of those third parties. We encourage you to review their policies, including:

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do. Continued use of the Services after changes become effective means you accept the updated policy.
